Two acting artists, both able in extraordinary virtuosism, meet each other in a project and a follow up of concerts which imagines the Tango as the delta of a river which enlarges his ramification in territories full of human, musical and instrumental stories. Different territories which changes continously or shows their unusual face, as a function of light, time or situation. Thus, Encuentro passes from the light of the day and the diffuse red of the sunset to the strong nocturnal settings and the clear sunrise when the light turns the air on.

A tango of air, earth and fire. A tango which combines ethnos, cultures, musical experiences, sounds, emotions, passion, wideness and suffering of a huge exodus which changed the story of a complete continent and created the history and the humus on which the Tango is born, is alive and still found new ways to extend ... just like a river which no bed can nearly contain.

Anna Maria Casteli and Emanuele Rasteli had met for similarity, but it should be more correct to define their encounter as unavoidable appointment. They had to meet each other for their range of interpretative capacity, for vastness of musical interests, for the huge number of music genres in which they are undisputable protagonists, for their big impact on stage. At last they had to meet because both got gifts in common which let their interpretations become unique. Encuentro, the first output of their collaboration, is therefore a communion of sophisticated sensibility and, in the same time, explosive continuity of extraordinary emotions.
